Q: When are monthly kits shipped?
A: As of November 2008, we have officially become a mid month kit club and all kits will be shipped mid-month. It is also according to a member's payment date (if they are on the recurring PayPal subscription). In truth - delays can happen. We are dedicated to keeping our members up-to-date when delays occur. Kits will be shipped anywhere between the 10th and the 20th of the month, barring any manufacturer delays.
Q: Can I skip a kit and how often?
A: Sure! If you find that there is a monthly selection that doesn't fit your needs, you may choose to skip that month's kit and have your payment refunded in full! We do ask that "skipping" kits is limited to three times per calendar year and that you request your skip by the 15th of the month prior to its release.
Q: How do I cancel my subscription/membership?
A: For a recurring PayPal subscription membership, please click here to immediately cancel your kit subscription with us. If paying by check/money order, just simply send us an email! Over the years, we have had many members come and go, so we always keep membership information on file for future subscriptions!
Q: Can I order the kits that I want without joining the club?
A: Yes - based on availability you can "reserve" a kit by clicking here, but keep in mind subscribers always have their orders filled first.
Q: I was set up for PayPal-It-Now and I haven't received a billing in the last couple of months. Why?
A: The PayPal-It-Now plan is offered to members with the intention of it being paid by the last day of the month prior to the kit relase. (June kit invoice due date would be May 31st). Those PIN members who do not pay their invoice prior to the end of the month will have their account iconsidered "inactive" and therefore we must receive an email requesting to continue with the plan before we proceed further. ALSO, future kits will not be reserved for that person unless the email requesting to continue is received, and all LPS Bucks will be forfeited.
Q: I pay by check, when is my payment due?
A: We do not mail kits unless check or money order clears first, so we ask that payment be sent as soon as you put in your reservation for kits to avoid delays. Please Note: Our members are on a "prepayment" system, so if payment is not received before the 1st of the month we will send an email reminder.
*Non-Members are customers who complete a PayPal purchase for a kit without submitting their information to JOIN Life Preservers Club. Non-Members will NOT be included in the process of future ordering.
Members who do not request a skip, are included in the ordering process for each Featured Monthly Kit UNLESS a preorder is requested otherwise on the Reservations page.
